Best place in Gaylord for one-on-one therapy. I will recommend Dynamic to all of my friends and family. The Gaylord staff is awesome.

TRAVERSE CITY – Dynamic Physical Therapy has been providing its services to northern Michigan since 1995, with locations in Cadillac, Manistee, Gaylord, Grayling, Marion and Buckley.
And this Monday, Sept. 17, Dynamic will open its seventh and newest location in Traverse City.
“We felt there was an area in southeast Traverse City that wasn’t well served by private physical therapy providers,” said Roger Karsten, PT, DPT, president of Dynamic Physical Therapy. “We felt there was a need to put an office in.”
Though Karsten, who usually works in the company’s Cadillac office, will be at the new location for the first few months, the Traverse City clinic will be under the management of Bryan Parshall, DPT.
Parshall, a Traverse City native who received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Grand Valley State University, specializes in orthopedic physical therapy treatment, with an interest in spine conditions.
“I’m looking forward to bringing my innovative physical therapy skills to my hometown of Traverse City,” he said. “I am really impressed with Dynamic’s quality-oriented philosophy and cutting edge treatment. I think this will be a great fit for me.”
During school, Parshall completed one of his three-month clinical rotations with Dynamic and really liked the dynamic of the company, Karsten said.
“The number one thing was that every conversation I had with (owners) Roger and Gus focused on quality,” Parshall added. “The underlying drive was providing quality care, and that everything falls into place if you do that.”
Parshall also appreciates Dynamic’s ambition to stay ahead of the times.
“Everything they do is (through) electronic medical records. It makes things a lot more efficient,” he explained.
“We are very patient-centered in our care,” Karsten said, noting that the company focuses on one-on-one interaction between the therapist and the client.
“In the beginning, (private physical therapy practices were) an alternative to hospital-based physical therapy.” Now, Karsten considers Dynamic an alternative to other, more expensive practices.
“There is a significant difference in costs (between different locations) that many people are unaware of,” he said. “It’s nearly impossible to find a physical therapy provider that’s more cost-effective than we are.”
Dynamic Physical Therapy’s new location is at 1362 Douglass Drive Suite 104. For details, visit www.dynamicptmichigan.com or call 231-421-9533.
